Free PlayStation Plus games for October 2016
A selection of horror, strategy, and action this month
Sony has announced the lineup of free PS Plus games for October 2016.
PlayStation 4 subscribers can start by downloading Resident Evil HD, a remake of the original horror game that celebrates the 20th anniversary of the franchise. For a more lighthearted option, members can grab Transformers: Devastation, an action game based on the popular entertainment brand and developed by PlatinumGames.
On PS3, members get a choice of Mad Riders, an offroad ATV racing game; or From Dust, a god-strategy game where you must guide a tribe to safety by changing the terrain.
Lastly, PS Vita members can download a visual novel Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, or a dramatic narrative game Actual Sunlight.
These games will be free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of the month.
