The game engine is still wierd, the people don't have complexions, and textures are rather bland.  Maybe there are reasons for this but I still think that they could have taken it to the next level.  The game could also benefit from a better lighting engine.  I feel like they carried over alot of engine elements from GTA4, so the animation awesomeness may be lost on the weak game enine else where.
 
The animation is simply phenominal though.
 
I love noir and I'll buy this game unless it tanks in reviews so my critiques are pointless.
