Games with Gold for April 2015

Microsoft has announced that Games with Gold will offer double the free games for April. That means Xbox One gamers get two new titles, and Xbox 360 gamers get four games.

In the first part of the month (1st to 15th), Xbox 360 gamers get Gears of War: Judgment, as well as the open-world roguelike Terraria. Gears of War: Judgment takes players back to the immediate aftermath of Emergence Day, the defining event of the Gears of War universe. On the other side of the coin, Terraria is about digging for metals, crafting with what you discover, building incredible dwellings, and battle enemies of all shapes and sizes.

Later in the month (16th to 31st), Xbox 360 gets two more titles: Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Black Flag is a swashbuckling fantasy set in the Caribbean during the Age of Sail, which adds ship-to-ship combat and plenty of exploration to the Assassin’s Creed stealth-and-action recipe. Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is a third-person shooter that focuses primarily on cooperative gameplay. It pits you and a buddy against a drug cartel called La Guadaña, in a series of missions that see the two of you face off against a literal army.

For Xbox One, Games with Gold offers two games all month in April: Child of Light and Pool Nation FX. Child of Light is an RPG inspired by fairy tales. The story takes us on the coming-of-age journey of Aurora, the daughter of a duke, who is transported to the fantastic world of Lemuria. Pool Nation FX meanwhile is a new take on the billiards genre, offering photo-realistic graphics, a physics engine, 12 different rule sets including the exclusive Trickshot Editor and the unique rule set customization tool, for ultimate personalization; alongside all the learning aids and professional difficulty levels.

The titles are available as free downloads for a limited time, for qualifying paid Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available.
