Games with Gold for November 2014

Microsoft has announced the next lineup of free games for the ongoing Games with Gold program.

Xbox One gamers can download Volgarr the Viking, available from Nov. 1-30. This is a journey back to the days of yore, when times were tougher, and you really only needed a couple buttons to play a game. Challenge comes from all angles as you take on the role of sword-swingin’, shield-blockin’, spear-throwin’, bearded Viking.

Xbox 360 owners can get Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise from Nov. 1-15. This sequel places you once again at the helm of your own personal garden paradise, where your job is to create a home for your piñata companions. You’ll face challenges from the evil Professor Pester and his Ruffians, and you’ll face even more just trying to please and attract new piñatas to your garden.

Then, from November 16 to 30th, Xbox 360 players can download Red Faction: Guerrilla. Using a variety of weapons and vehicles, players must take down the oppressive regime and set up new power structures in its place. Buildings and other cover objects are fully destructible, so players can wreak havoc with rocket launchers and heavy weapons.

All players in North America with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription can get the above games for free.
