Miscrosoft supports price gouging.
Microsoft is perfectly happy with the absurd prices for it's Games on Demand games in some regions.
Microsoft have told Kotaku that it's content with prices set for some regions with it's new Games on Demand service coming to Xbox Live on August 11th.
Those in Australia and New Zealand are paying obscene prices for older titles. This pricing is apparently set by the team at Xbox Australia. Price examples include:
Mass Effect [Nov 2007]- $99 AUD ($80USD)
It's unclear whether this absurd pricing structure will remain for those in differing regions as the service evolves. But it's not a good start.
