Free PlayStation Plus games for September 2016
A classic adventure, hardcore RPG, time-shifting platformer and more
Sony has announced the lineup of free PS Plus games for September 2016.
PS4 subscribers can grab the classic adventure game Journey. Finding yourself alone in the desert, you must make your way to the mountaintop. But there’s so much more to this experience than simply traversing the world.
The PS4's second free game is hardcore RPG Lords of the Fallen. Looking for redemption for past sins, you play as Harkyn and try to end a war between humans and the gods. Collect your gear and prepare for close-quarters combat as you take the fight to the demon lords.
Members on PS3 get the classic time-shifting platfomer Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, as well as mysterious narrative game Datura. PS3 owners also get Journey thanks to cross-buy.
Finally, subscribers on PS Vita can download Amnesia: Memories. In this visual novel, you'll play as the Heroine whose life depends on hiding your recent loss of memory while you navigate complex relationships with five men.
Subscribers on all three platforms (PS4, PS3, and Vita) can also download Badland, a side-scrolling action adventure with physics-based gameplay and up-to-4 player local multiplayer with co-op & deathmatch.
These games will be free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of the month.
