Free PlayStation Plus games for January 2017

Sony has announced the lineup of free PS Plus games for January 2017.

PS4 and PS Vita subscribers can grab Day of the Tentacle Remastered. This is a mind-bending, time traveling, puzzle adventure in which three unlikely friends work together to prevent an evil mutated purple tentacle from taking over the world. The second free PS4 game is This War Of Mine, where players control a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers.

On PS3, members can download Blazerush, a dynamic arcade racing survival game with no health, no leveling and no brakes. The second free PS3 game is The Swindle (also free on PS4 and PS Vita). The Swindle is a steampunk cybercrime caper about breaking into buildings, hacking their systems, stealing all their cash, and quickly running away again before the police show up.

PlayStation Vita subscribers will be able to download Azkend 2, a match-three adventure game set in an underground world. Vita owners can also download Titan Souls (also free on PS4). Now scattered amongst the ruins and guarded by the idle titans charged with their care, a solitary hero armed with but a single arrow is once again assembling shards of the Titan Soul in a quest for truth and power.

These games will be free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of the month.
