PSN Play program detailed for summer 2012
Second annual sales event on PSN kicks off soon
Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that PSN PLAY, its annual summer program, returns on July 24 when the PLAY lineup becomes available for pre-order on PlayStation Network in North America.
Those who make purchases during the pre-order period will receive an exclusive PS3 XMB theme based on each game purchased.
The four-game PLAY lineup offers gamers who purchase two titles or more a bonus cash voucher for use on PlayStation Network. Those who buy all 4 PSN PLAY games to get $10; with 3 purchases get $6; or buy any 2 games to get $3.
The 2012 lineup includes The Expendables 2 Videogame (July 31), Sound Shapes (August 7), Papo & Yo (August 14), and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (August 21).
All of the titles will be sold for $14.99 ($11.99 for PSN+ members).
