From Dust breaks Ubisoft XBLA sales record
The strategy title earns good day one sales on Xbox Live
Ubisoft has announced that From Dust on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 has broken record digital sales for Ubisoft after launching worldwide on July 27, 2011.
The game had the highest first day sales of any Xbox LIVE Arcade game that Ubisoft has ever released with sales approximately 45 percent higher than Ubisoft's previous best-selling XBLA release.
"From Dust is another great example of Ubisoft's ongoing commitment to bring original intellectual properties and brands to the digital space," said Chris Early, vice president of digital publishing, Ubisoft. "Ubisoft is a creative company dedicated to delivering innovative and engaging content for all types of players - whether it's a big retail game or a short format digital title such as From Dust."
The pre-orders for From Dust on Windows PC are also said to be tracking very well with a significant number of orders on UbiShop and via other digital channels. From Dust on Windows PC is slated to release on August 17, 2011 and on the PlayStation Network in the future.
