Steamworks feature set and system requirements for Brink revealed

Beth Blog has said that the upcoming shooter Brink will feature Steamworks integration. With the inclusion of Steamworks, players will have the usually expected features.

Users will get Steam Achievements, VOIP (in addition to the already existing in-game chat), leaderboards, VAC support, dedicated servers, and Steam Cloud. This also means that all retail copies will allow for owner key to be attached to the user's Steam account, granting full download ability without the need for disks.

The game's system requirements were also revealed to be as follows.

Minimum Specs
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz or equivalent
Memory: 2GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA 8800GS / ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro or equivalent
OS: Windows XP(SP3)/Vista/Windows 7
Hard Drive: 8GB of free space

Memory: 3GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850

Brink’s release date is set for May 10th in North America, May 13th in Europe on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
