The Messenger gets Picnic Panic expansion
New free content is now available for platformer
Sabotage Studio and Devolver Digital have announced the launch of Picnic Panic, a free DLC expansion to retro platformer The Messenger.
Characters from the original game are taking a trip to Voodkin Island, and you’ll be able to explore three new levels - each culminating in boss fights. Rainbowdragoneyes has also provided 13 brand new tracks.
The new content becomes accessible by visiting the shopkeeper after seeing credits roll or after “unlocking“ the map for NG+ players.
The Messenger was released in summer 2018 for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
