Wii U game ports on the way to Switch

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker port planned, plus release dates for other games

Posted on

Nintendo has announced the release dates and a new title from their own development teams, coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, which originally launched for Wii U, is coming to Nintendo Switch. The new version includes new miniature courses based on various Kingdoms in the Super Mario Odyssey game. Also, anyone can play with a friend or family member by sharing a pair of Joy-Con controllers. While one player controls Captain Toad, the other can assist with things like turnip cover fire. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker launches for Nintendo Switch on July 13.

The company also announced that Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be arriving for Nintendo Switch on May 18. It joins Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which is set to launch on May 4.
