Sony responds to Firmware 3.0 issues
Sony is aware of the freezing problems and are working to fix the "rare" cases
The official blog says that SCEA is aware of reports that PS3 owners are experiencing "isolated" issues with their PS3 system since installing the most recent system software update (v3.00). Rest assured that they are looking into the matter and will provide an update here as soon as possible. Sony apologizes for any inconvenience, as it’s their mission to deliver the best consumer experience on all PlayStation platforms.
Reports started coming in earlier this week regarding SIXAXIS issues as well as game freezes. We can confirm that Uncharted is having freezing issues since the update, and it's good that Sony is working on it.
