Free PlayStation Plus games for August 2016

Sony has announced the lineup of free PS Plus games for August 2016.

Making its debut as a PS+ title, Tricky Towers is a physics-based puzzler that’s at its best when you’re competing against friends. With local and online multiplayer for two to four players, you race to stack your tower while casting spells to disrupt your opponents. The second PS4 title is Rebel Galaxy. Suit up and take command in this space combat RPG; take the helm of a massive destroyer as you make your reputation through trade, by being a work-for-hire mercenary or a swashbuckling pirate. In a procedurally generated universe, no two star systems are the same and there’s always something new to discover.

On PS3, members can download the action adventure game Yakuza 5. Yakuza 5 continues the story of Kazuma Kiryu alongside four other protagonists, following their struggles and conflicts in the seedy underbelly of Japan’s Yakuza underworld. The second PS3 free game is the Retro/Grade.

And on the PS Vita, members can download originally PSP title Patapon 3 as well as Ultratron. Ultratron is also available to PS4 and PS3 members.

These games will be free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of the month.
