Dragon's Dogma named one of Capcom's fastest selling PC titles
Publisher says the recent RPG port is one their fastest selling yet
Capcom has said that the PC version of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is their fast-selling game ever on the platform.
“We are extremely pleased with the performance of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. It is our fastest-selling PC title to date, thanks to an audience eagerly waiting for it, and us delivering to the level of quality gamers were expecting,” marketing director Antoine Molant told MCV.
The publisher said the game joins Resident Evil and Dead Rising 3 as the fastest selling PC game for the publisher in the weeks following release. However, the initial sales of the console versions were higher than PC, as they benefited from a full marketing push pre-launch.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen was released for PC last month - a few years after the original debut on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
