Raven Software lets go some employees
Some of the workers at Raven software have lost their job in a "restructuring" move not long after the release of Wolfenstein.
We know that Endrant studios, the multiplayer team behind Wolfenstein were axed on the very same day the game was released. Now it seems that Raven Software have suffered some collateral damage with some members of the staff losing their jobs not long after Wolfenstein has been released.
A source told Shacknews that possibly 56 people have been let go from the company, roughly 1/3rd of the original staff of 180. Whether this is an indication of the poor performances from Wolfenstein and other recent titles or simply a reflection on Raven Software not aquiring enough future work to keep all the staff occupied is not known.
Raven Software are currently working on Singularity, another sci-fi first person shooter based on an original IP.
