Starwhal debuts on PlayStation next week

PS3 and PS4 versions arriving on February 24th

Breakfall have announced that the PS4 and PS3 will see local co-op mayhem when Starwhal: Just the Tip makes its console debut on February 24th in North America.

The core of the game is competitive matches which see narwhals dueling in a retro vision of deep space. Poke or be poked as you wiggle your way towards, around and onto opponents. Dodge foes’ treacherous tusks while safeguarding your heart and attacking theirs.

New modes, new arenas, new visual effects, an extended soundtrack and over 9,000 costume combinations have all been thrown into the mix. And if you’re looking to hone your Starwhal skills on your own, you can try out our 32 challenge courses that let you earn Trophies while you dominate global leaderboards.

With the DualShock 4, you’ll never lose track of your ‘whal as the controller lights up to match the colour of your daring space beast. The game runs at 30 FPS on PS3, and 1080p 60 FPS on PS4.

Starwhal will be priced at $11.99 USD, and will feature cross buy so you can enjoy it your way on PS4 or PS3.

Starwhal: Just the Tip was first released for PC last year. A Wii U version is also expected.
