The Bureau: XCOM Declassified first DLC next week
Hangar 6 R&D brings more action
2K Games have announced plans to release Hangar 6 R&D DLC for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
The new content takes place shortly before Agent Carter’s adventures in the main game, right before the large-scale alien invasion begins. Players will learn that during this time, Agent DaSilva had volunteered for a series of psychic experiments at an undisclosed location known by The Bureau as simply “Hangar 6.” Players will take control of Agent DaSilva, and his squad, as they are treated with an elerium-based compound gas in order to visualize and combat the mental defenses of another agent infected with the “Sleepwalker” pathogen.
DaSilva’s got a new series of powers and perks based on his “plant and trigger” bomb abilities in the level "Signal from Beyond." You can choose between those and some of Carter's old standbys in your upgrade path. There's enough experience to level up a couple of agents of every class, and the enemies are promised to be difficult. Ammo and weapons are plentiful – including a new AK-47 and a prototype Microwave Gun that cooks enemies from the inside out.
Hangar 6 R&D downloadable content will be available worldwide exclusively on the Xbox 360 for $4.99 starting October 8, 2013.
