Payday 2 sells 1.6 million copies
Tactical online shooter reaches sales milestone after a month
Overkill and Starbreeze have announced that Payday 2 has sold over 1.58 million copies since release.
It was noted that 80% of these sales were from digital sources. Perhaps not surprising - the game only received physical versions in Europe and only on consoles. No platform sales breakdowns were provided.
The original PayDay reportedly sold less than a million copies after a year.
PayDay 2 was released exactly a month ago, on August 13th for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
