Quantum Conundrum releases on consoles this week

First-Person environmental puzzle game arrives

Square Enix today announced Quantum Conundrum, the newest game from Portal co-creator Kim Swift and developer Airtight Games, is now available on the PlayStation Network for $14.99. Quantum Conundrum will also be available for Xbox LIVE Arcade tomorrow, July 11, for 1200 MS points.

Themes and avatars are available today for PlayStation Network, and an Xbox LIVE Arcade avatar collection and premium theme tomorrow, July 11.

In Quantum Conundrum, players take on the role of a young boy dropped off on his uncle’s doorstep for the weekend; his uncle just so happens to be the brilliant, eccentric inventor, Professor Fitz Quadwrangle. In order to find their uncle, players use the IDS to dynamically shift between five dimensions and progress through rooms in the labyrinthine Quadwrangle Manor.

Windows PC players can already purchase Quantum Conundrum from digital retailers for $14.99 or purchase a Season Pass directly through Steam for $19.99, which includes an exclusive downloadable Quantum Conundrum soundtrack and two future downloadable puzzle packs.
