Grim Dawn gets Kickstarted
Action RPG Grim Dawn has opened a Kickstarter project to help with content production
Crate Entertainment is asking for some funds for their upcoming Action RPG game, Grim Dawn. On their newly created Kickstarter page they are asking for $280,000. This money will be used to ensure no aspect of the game will drag the rest of the development process. In particular it will help with content creation, making all the art assets like weapons, monsters and other items. Estimated delivery of the game is August 2013.
Their Kickstarter project is off to a good start. They have already raised $69,000, almost a quarter of their goal in the first day. There are 30 days left of funding, ending May 18th, 2012. Funding the game before release will ensure it's even better for gamers. Grim Dawn uses the same engine that powered the well received PC game - Titan Quest. Grim dawn is also made by some of the members that produced that game. So if you are interested in Grim Dawn, put down some money and preorder the game via Kickstarter today.
About Grim Dawn: Players will be thrust into the dark, war-torn world of Cairn where a once proud empire has been brought to ruin and the human race driven to the edge of extinction. Cairn has become ground zero of an eternal war between two otherworldly powers, one seeking to use human bodies as a resource, the other intent upon destroying the human race before that can happen. This cataclysmic war has not only decimated human civilization but is warping the very fabric of reality and, in its wake, giving life to new horrors.
