Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Beta announced
Fans can try the next installment of the shooter series in early September
Activision has announced the details about the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Beta.
This year, the Beta goes live on all platforms at the same time. In the past, PlayStation consoles got a head start due to a long running deal with Activision, but now that Microsoft has completed their purchase of the large publisher, that deal will no longer be in place, understandably.
Available to players who have pre-ordered the game across all platforms (consoles and PC), as well as Game Pass subscribers, the first Beta weekend is scheduled to begin on Friday August 30 at 10AM PT, and end on Wednesday September 4 at 10AM PT.
The second Beta weekend is Open for everyone and does not require pre-orders, and is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 6 at 10AM PT, and end on Monday, September 9 at 10AM PT.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 development is led by Treyarch, in partnership with Raven Software. The game is planned for launch on October 25 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
