It was a big year for video game launches and news
The past year has been a big one in the world of video games. Alongside the usual ups and downs, big launches and breakout indie hits, we've seen 2023 bring an unusually large amount of quality triple-A games, as the industry finally recovered and caught up following the delays of the last few years. Almost every publisher was delivering big releases, and the smaller teams also had their time in the spotlight. More quality - and less so - free to play games also launched, giving players everywhere a chance to enjoy something new. As we do every year, we also like to wrap up by looking at what our readers found to be the most interesting.
