Assassin's Creed Brotherhood now in stores
Brotherhood offers new singleplayer campaign and multiplayer modes
Ubisoft announced today that Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has shipped and is now available at retail stores across North America. Brotherhood is a worldwide production effort led by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with Ubisoft studios in Singapore, Bucharest, Québec City and Annecy.
The single-player experience of Assassin's Creed is back as Ezio returns for an epic struggle against the powerful Templar Order. Offering more single-player gameplay than Assassin's Creed II, players play as a legendary Master Assassin, and journey into Italy's great city of Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy.
For the first time in the franchise's history, the game offers multiplayer modes. Players will have the opportunity to experience the world from the Templars' perspective when they step into the shoes of an elite Abstergo agent, hand-picked to undergo training in order to better fight the Assassins. Players can choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match their skills against other players from all over the world in different game modes.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is now in stores for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, with PC version set to follow in 2011.
