God of War Ragnarok out in November
Release date has been set for the next game in the rebooted action series
Sony Santa Monica Studio has announced that God of War Ragnarök is planned for release on November 9, 2022.
Preorders for the game will begin on July 15, 2022 at 10:00 am Local Time (10am Eastern Time for North America). There will be multiple editions of the game available.
All fans who pre-order before launch will receive the Kratos Risen Snow Armor and the Atreus Risen Snow Tunic (cosmetic). If you purchase the God of War Ragnarök standard edition for PlayStation 4, you can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for $10 USD.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the game, Kratos Darkdale Armor, Atreus Darkdale Attire (cosmetic), Darkdale Blades Handles for the Blades of Chaos, Darkdale Axe Grip for the Leviathan Axe in-game items. It also includes the Digital Soundtrack, Dark Horse Digital Mini Artbook, Avatar Set, and PlayStation 4 Theme.
There's also a Collector’s Edition, which contains a printed voucher code for the game (no physical disk included), a Steelbook Display Case, 2” Vanir Twins Carvings, Dwarven Dice Set, and a 16” Mjölnir Replica. It also includes all the items from the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Last but not least is the Jötnar Edition. This bundle also contains a printed voucher code for the game (no disk), along with a 7-Inch Vinyl Record with music by Bear McCreary, The Legendary Draupnir Ring, Brok’s Dice Set, Yggdrasil Cloth Map, and everything else included with the Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.
God of War Ragnarök takes players to the previously unreachable Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Asgard – as well as to new areas from locations featured in the last game.
God of War Ragnarök will launch exclusively on PS5 and PS4.
