Gran Turismo 5 delayed in Europe, Japan and the US
Sony has announced it has delayed Gran Turismo 5 in the US, Europe and Japan, moving the racer from its previously confirmed November 2 release date.
No further dates have been confirmed. “We can confirm that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available this November 2nd, but the game’s release will be coming this holiday season,” reads a post on the PS Blog.
“We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.”
A new release date has been promised by the end of the month, and the game is still expected to arrive "this holiday season".
