Madden NFL 22 announced
New Dynamic Gameday promises live updates to this year's title
Electronic Arts has announced Madden NFL 22, featuring Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes on the cover across all editions and Madden NFL Mobile.
Madden NFL 22 promises new Dynamic Gameday, which impacts gameplay across every mode. Whether installing a weekly gameplan in Franchise or going head-to-head in Play Now, games in Madden NFL 22 will feel fresh with a deeper level of strategy and storytelling in each match-up and in each stadium.
Dynamic Gameday in Madden NFL 22 is powered by three new features. Gameday Atmosphere includes the crowds, environments, and presentation elements that enhance and impact every game. New Gameday Momentum performance-based mechanics, including Home Field Advantage which provides a unique game condition tailored to each NFL team’s stadium atmosphere. Lastly, Next Gen Stats: Star-Driven AI, powered by real world player data that will evolve throughout the season, changes AI behavior and team tendencies to make NFL superstars and the personality of each team more true-to-life.
Franchise Mode promises more detailed staff management and skill tree progression systems, and comprehensive weekly game strategy with a revamped Season Engine. The Yard mode will feature a new single player campaign and avatar progression system that shares progress, rewards and vanity with Face of the Franchise. Face of The Franchise returns with a new story, player class system, and the option to play on the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker for the first time.
Madden NFL 22 is developed in Orlando, Florida by EA Tiburon and will be available worldwide August 20th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Origin and Steam, and Google Stadia.
