Black Ops will not have campaign co-op
Developer confirms No campaign co-op for the latest Call of Duty
Call of Duty: Black Ops' campaign will not be playable cooperatively, creator Treyarch's confirmed. However, the game will feature two-player online splitscreen multiplayer for the first time in the series.
The lack of this mode comes as a bit of a surprise, considering the developer's last title, World at War, did have this mode. It was also apparently quite popular.
Two-player split-screen is playable in the combat training mode and multiplayer. Call of Duty: Black Ops is coming to stores worldwide on November 9th for PC, XBox 360 and PS3.
