Ubisoft delays Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2
Publisher shifts the dates of two upcoming major titles
Ubisoft has announced a delay in the release of its two major upcoming games, Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2.
Far Cry 5, originally planned for release in February 2018, has been pushed back a month to March 27, 2018. The extra time is said to allow the team at Ubisoft Montreal to make some additional improvements that will bring the game in line with the team’s original vision.
The Crew 2, meanwhile, was planned to launch in March 2018 but has been pushed back to an unspecified date in the company's first half of next fiscal year - which could be as late as September 2018. Similarly, Ivory Tower will use the next several months to perform additional playtests, gather player feedback, and continue working towards delivering racing that meets the team’s and players’ expectations.
Both games will be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
