Gran Turismo Sport has a new release date

Sony has announced that a new release date has been locked-in for Gran Turismo Sport, set to launch this October 17, 2017.

Originally announced to be launching last year in the Fall, the simulation racing game will now arrive on October 17 in North America. Alongside the new release date, two special editions have also been revealed.

First up, the Limited Edition ($69.99USD, $89.99CAD) contains GT Sport Starter Pack (8 Cars), $1MM In-Game Credit, Livery Sticker Pack, 30 GT Sport Themed Avatars, Chrome Racing Helmet (For Driver Profile), all in a limited Steel Book & Packaging.

And secondly, the Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99USD, $99.99CAD) contains GT Sport Starter Pack (12 Cars), $2MM In-Game Credit, Livery Sticker Pack, 60 GT Sport Themed Avatars, and Chrome Racing Helmet (For Driver Profile).

The developers promise more information about the game through the next few months as it approaches release.

Gran Turismo Sport will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 with PS VR support.
