BJ Blazkowicz added to Quake Champions
E3 update includes new map and additional features
BJ Blazkowicz is now a playable character in Quake Champions. Players in the closed beta can now use the nazi-killing soldier to kill others across various multiplayer arenas. BJ’s active ability allows him to dual-wield any weapon in the game, including the new Tribolt weapon.
The update adds one new arena map, Lockbox, and two duel maps—Blood Run, and Corrupted Keep.
New to the update is the ability to watch Twitch streams from within the game. There is now also Gameblock Anti-Cheat, Spectator mode, custom games, changes to the Sacrifice mode ruleset, improved matchmaking, and New Player Help in the form of video tutorials.
The closed beta will continue operation 24/7 with only minor downtime for maintenance. Invites are still being sent out on a regular basis. Any player that signs up now will immediately receive a key.
