E3 2017 to offer limited consumer tickets

The annual show will sell 15k tickets to general public

Posted on

The Entertainment Software Association has announced that they will make 15,000 tickets available for sale to the general public for E3 2017.

The tickets will cost $250 for the three-day convention in June, with early buyers getting a $150 discounted price. The sale will begin on Monday, February 13 at Noon EST at the official website.

The ESA says the decision to allow public access comes following fan and industry requests. E3 has been trying various ideas in recent years - providing invite-only public passes, or hosting a secondary public E3 Live show last year, which attracted 20,000 fans.

E3 2017 takes place June 13-15. More than 200 exhibitors are lined up to attend the event.
