Total War: Warhammer release date set
Special High King Edition and pre-order DLC also detailed
SEGA and Creative Assembly have revealed the Pre-order Bonus, High King Edition and Limited Edition for Total War: Warhammer.
Total War: Warhammer will be the first in an epic trilogy, supported with free and paid-for content post-release and is set to launch on April 28th, 2016. Those who pre-order from participating retailers will receive first DLC for free alongside the game on release day - The Chaos Warriors Race Pack, which includes three new playable Legendary Lords, a quest chain for each, and new magic items.
The special High King Edition will be limited in quantity and cost £99.99 (North America prices TBD). Modelled on the legendary Book of Grudges, the High King Edition will ship in a large ornate presentation box, featuring metallic gold and 3D sculpted detail in the iconic Dwarfen style. Contained within is a metal Grudge Ring, Slayer’s Whetstone Pendant, Dwarfen Drinking Horn & Stand, Canvas Map, Integrated Artbook, an Insider Guide, and all within a metal case.
Alongside the High King Edition, a Limited Edition will also be available at select retailers. This version includes the metal case and Insider Guide.
Total War: Warhammer will be released on PC via Steam.
