Black Ops 3 beta now live on Xbox One and PC
Beta period lasts until August 30th
Activision and Treyarch have launched the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PC and Xbox One. Both platforms will get at least four days of beta access, ending on the 30th of August. The PS4 beta was extended one day after the official cut off period (19th to 23rd), so it may last a little longer.
The PC beta is available to owners of either Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Call of Duty: Ghosts or Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the last three titles in the series. It is also available to any that preordered the game or acquired a code elsewhere. The PC version is the only platform that will not have the Paintshop feature. The beta download size is 13.1GB on Steam.
Xbox One owners also get access starting today. Some have reported a problem when entering codes and have resolved it by setting their location to Brasil on xbox.com. The developers have confirmed this is a problem and a fix should go live soon.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will launch worldwide on November 6th 2015 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
