NBA Live 16 debuts LIVE Motion tech
New physics-based player movement system for basketball title
EA Sports took the stage at E3 to detail NBA LIVE 16's LIVE Motion, an all-new physics-based player movement system.
The dynamic nature of LIVE Motion in NBA LIVE 16 promises to keep players in control of movement so you’ll never feel like you’re stuck in a scripted animation. Built over the past two years, LIVE Motion combines a new approach to motion capture with run-time physics to give players the ability to pull off contextual movement all over the basketball court.
Also revealed is GameFaceHD, an exclusive mobile head scanning app launching later this summer, allows gamers to quickly and simply apply their face directly to a created character in NBA LIVE 16. This process results in a realistic rendering of a gamer’s face, which can be immediately uploaded into the game. Coupled with several unique player customization options, NBA LIVE 16 hopes to deliver the level of self-expression players have been asking for.
NBA LIVE 16 is developed in Orlando, Florida by EA Tiburon and will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 29, 2015.
