Overlord: Fellowship of Evil announced
Action/strategy franchise returns with focus on co-op
Codemasters have announced Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, bringing the franchise back after six years.
With the last true Overlord deceased, gamers take up the role of one of four Netherghūls. These brand new, suitably nefarious additions to the series are undead servants of the dark arts, determined to bring evil back to a world overrun by the forces of good. The script for the game was written by the original’s Rhianna Pratchett. The Minions are led by their wise master Gnarl, voiced once again by beloved voice actor Marc Silk.
Players can be joined by up to three friends - locally or online - and gleefully unleash a wave of delightful destruction across the land, in cooperative or competitive setting.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil will be released digitally in 2015 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
