Shadow Realms cancelled
BioWare chooses to end development of the asymmetric multiplayer game
Just 6 months after being announced, Shadow Realms developer BioWare Austin studio has announced that it is no longer working on the RPG.
"While the team did amazing work on the game concept and we got lots of great feedback from our fans at events and through other game testing, right now there are other projects for the team to work on within the BioWare studios for the coming year and beyond," explained Jeff Hickman, General Manager, BioWare Austin.
We first saw this new asymmetric multiplayer game at PAX Prime 2014.
The biggest focus for the studio remains Star Wars: The Old Republic, as well as helping with other franchises such as Dragon Age and Mass Effect. A new IP is also mentioned.
