Halo 3: ODST Campaign coming to Halo: MCC
As a thank you to fans, other free content also offered
Bonnie Ross, head of 343 Industries, has issued an open letter to fans following the matchmaking issues and other bugs impacting players’ experience with Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
The developers are said to be working around the clock deploying weekly content updates and numerous server-side adjustments that have shown good results. As a token of appreciation and to thank fans for the continued support and understanding, 343 will be offering the following items, for free: 1 Month of Xbox Live Gold, and an exclusive in-game nameplate and in-game avatar. These items are free for anyone who has played Halo: The Master Chief Collection online since launch through December 19th.
Further, the developers have announced that Halo 3: ODST Campaign and the "Relic" Halo 2: Anniversary Multiplayer Map will be created and added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection for free.
"The satisfaction and joy of our fans is absolutely critical to everyone at 343 Industries and we regret the issues and the frustration you have endured. We are truly sorry and thank you for your continued patience and support of the Halo franchise."
