Minimum requirements released for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Steam lists baseline system PC gamers need to run the upcoming Call of Duty game
The minimum specifications have been listed for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Processor: Intel® CoreTM i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD PhenomTM II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 55 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX-compatible
The computer requirements are similar to those of Call of Duty: Ghosts from 2013. The difference is linked to the processor and storage prerequisites. Although Advanced Warfare does not require a quad core CPU, the minimum processor speed has increased and a quad core chip is required if you are using an AMD CPU. As is standard for the new games, a hefty 55GB of storage space is required.
Recommended specifications have not been released, but it would be safe to assume they would be similar to those of the previous title. Advanced Warfare requires Steam on PC just like previous titles. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 4th 2014.
