Skylanders comic-book series coming soon
Provides fans an inside look at Skylanders history
In conjunction with Activision, IDW Publishing has announced the first-ever Skylanders comic-book series, penned by writer Ron Marz, and Mike Bowden and David Baldeon as lead artists.
Fans have the opportunity to follow the adventures of their favorite characters from Skylands games through the comic books. The first issue, a prequel to the Skylanders Trap Team storyline, provides an inside look at where some of the heroes came from, and a peak at a few new characters from the upcoming game.
The game will make the leap to the pages of comics this July, debuting at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014. Skylanders #0 features an introductory 16-page story as well as character guides and additional back-up information. The issue will be launched in both print and digital during SDCC weekend.
The next game in the franchise will be Skylanders Trap Team, releasing this year.
