Photo mode added to Infamous: Second Son
New patch also brings HUD options and more
Sucker Punch Productions has announced plans to release an update for their PS4 exclusive title Infamous: Second Son today.
After the patch, players will be able to disable the HUD at any time, and adjust the time of day after completing the story campaign.
Also offered is an option to cap the game frame rate at 30 FPS. A couple of fixes for rare crashes in the game are said to be fixed. Finally, if you’re choosing expert difficulty, the game lets you know within the options dialog if you’re qualified for the “Unstoppable” trophy the moment you opt in.
With this patch, players can also enable photo mode within the options. Once you do that, clicking L3 will pause the game, and allow you to use a suite of our internal tools (like setting depth of field) to take exact shots.
Players should note that all options introduced with this patch, including frame rate, will reset to defaults each time you restart the game. Additionally, Photo Mode will only work in situations where the camera is freely movable by players. In scripted sequences/cutscenes you can still take screenshots with standard PS4 share tools, just not with the Photo Mode.
