Transistor coming next month
Second title from Supergiant Games will be out in May
Supergiant Games have announced that their followup to Bastion will be released in May.
Transistor’s release date has been set for May 20, 2014. The 2D action title will be sold for $19.99 in North America, and €18.99 / £14.99 in Europe. As originally planned, it will be available for PC and PlayStation 4.
The developers will have a near-final build of the game running on the PlayStation 4 at PAX East this weekend. It was one year ago at PAX East that Transistor was also announced for the first time.
Transistor is a sci-fi themed action RPG that invites players to wield a weapon of unknown origin as they fight through a futuristic city. The game integrates strategic planning into a fast-paced action experience.
