2014 Ottawa International Game Conference in May
3rd annual conference promises world-class speakers
For the third year in a row, game developers, artists and business leaders from around the region and the world will be converging at the National Arts Centre (NAC) from May 25th – 27th for the Ottawa International Game Conference (OIGC).
Over 40 sessions of best practices and case studies, networking events, a trade show, demo zone and more are planned. This year promises to be the best so far, with over 500 attendees expected and a rooftop party under the stars.
This year’s conference features three tracks: Business, Game Development and Indie. The Business Track will cover everything from financing a studio to monetizing games on various platforms, while the Game Development Track will cover all aspects of development and creative needed to make an incredible game. The Indie Track is a newer addition to the conference, and will bring together talent and inspiration from the indie game community.
The full speaker lineup is said to be revealed soon.
