The Evil Within coming this summer

Bethesda Softworks has revealed that The Evil Within will be available in North America on August 26, 2014 and throughout Europe on August 29, 2014.

Developed by Shinji Mikami and Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within embodies the meaning of pure survival horror. While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.

The Evil Within is in development for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
