Nintendo offering Season Pass refunds to customers
Nintendo is reportedly offering refunds on Season Pass DLC purchases for the Wii U owners of Batman: Arkham Origins.
A message has been sent out to Season Pass owners regarding this issue, that reads: "We are contacting you today because you purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass for Wii U. Based on demand for Downloadable Content on the system, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made the decision to remove its offering of the upcoming new story campaign for Wii U."
"As a result, we will be crediting the entire $19.99+tax cost of the Season Pass back to your Nintendo eShop account. You will still be able to enjoy the content already released thus far," reads the message.
The decision to stop further content on the Wii U will seem odd to some players, as there's other DLC from the game on the eShop, such as skins and challenge packs. But as mentioned in the statement above, it will continue to be available.
Batman: Arkham Origins was released on Wii U last Fall. It's also available on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
