Nominations open for 2013 Canadian Videogame Awards
4th Annual Canadian awards return next year
Nominations have opened for the 4th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards, to be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on April 20th, 2013.
Nominations must be for work developed in Canada and released in 2012. The Call for Nominations will close on February 1, 2013. Developers and publishers can submit their games via the official website.
The award categories include the usual Best Audio, Best Console Game, Best Downloadable Game, Best Game Design, Game of the Year, and so on. The two new categories for this year's awards show are Best Animation and Peoples' Choice Award.
Finalists in all categories will be announced March 11, 2013, when public voting for the Peoples' Choice Award will open.
The Canadian Videogame Awards will be held during Fan Expo in Vancouver, and are produced by Reboot Communications and Greedy Productions.
