NPD sales for November
Nintendo Wii dominates, PS3 lags behind 360 and Modern Warfare 2 tops the sales charts.
NPD sales figures for November are in and not surprisingly it's been a big month for all platforms. November marks the first transition into the holiday sales period with a large boost in sales figures over the last month. December should proove even higher.
HARDWARE

PlayStation 2 203.1K
Playstation 2 is still hanging in there. The System is only 9 years old. 360 sold more thatn PS3 more than likely thanks to the Modern Warfare 2 bundle. Nintendo Wii and DS still dominate with a clear lead over the High Definition consoles.

Modern Warfare 2 sales figures are very strong, with the 360 version outselling the PS3 sales 9 : 4. This is possibly due to the Modern Warfare 2 bundle that was created for the 360 Elite. Assassin's Creed 2 also sold better on 360 than on PS3. Again this is also because the 360 has a higher user base than the PS3 in North America.
