Steam adds application software to Greenlight
Users can choose what non gaming software they want to appear
Valve has updated Steam Greenlight, adding the ability for developers to post non-gaming software for consideration by the Community.
Software in Steam Greenlight will work just like games, where Valve is looking to the community to provide data on what they would like to see made available via Steam.
Greenlight will allow software providers to post information and media about their app in an effort to convince Community members that their work should be released on Steam.
The system launched on August 30, and has since seen about 30 games approved to be released on the digital download service.
