Forza Horizon soundtrack detailed
Racing music list includes over 65 songs
Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios have released new details on the upcoming racing title, Forza Horizon.
The game is set against the backdrop of a fictional automotive music festival – the Horizon Festival. This music list includes over 65 songs spanning more than 60 artists and was curated and created specifically for the game by Rob da Bank, the famed BBC Radio DJ and creator of the Bestival music festival.
Players can tune into three distinct radio stations while playing, each with a different style of music and each with its own authentic DJ giving players Horizon Festival updates. Station 1 called “Horizon Bass Arena” promises a bleeding-edge mix of the latest electronic and dance music, from dubstep to electro to drum & bass with artists including Digitalism, Benny Benassi, Wolfgang Gartner and more. Station 2 “Horizon Pulse” has an eclectic selection of indie festival favourites, remixed to keep you driving with artists Empire of the Sun, Hot Chip, Phoenix, and others. Finally, Station 3 “Horizon Rocks” says if it’s got guitars in it, it’s here. Artists include Arctic Monkeys, Lostprophets, Silversun Pickups and more.
Forza Horizon will be available starting on October 23rd in North America and October 26th in Europe, exclusively on Xbox 360. For more on the game, visit our Forza Horizon Preview.
