Valve kicks off Steam Summer sale
This year players get a chance to vote on what discounts they want
Valve has announced that the long-awaited annual Steam Summer Sale is on now.
Gamers will find deals on thousands of games, being updated daily. For day one, discounted titles include Shogun 2, Modern Warfare 3, Ridge Race Unbounded, Terrarria and more. Bundle packs are also available.
The Summer Sale will again feature straight discounts, offering Daily Deals, but also some new offers. New Community Choice allows users to help decide what title gets a discount by voting. Players can come back for new choices every eight hours. Currently up on the voting block are The Witcher 2, Saints Row The Third, and Batman Arkham City.
Also new this year are the Flash sales, offering discounts on titles for only a few hours.
